This year’s Dr Tom Walsh lecture will be given by Lara Marlowe.

Marlowe has been a journalist for more than 40 years, reporting on French and US politics, as well as from wars across the world.

This year’s lecture, entitled “From Innocent Victims to Daring Warriors; Real-life Stories of Women in War”, contains Lara Marlowe’s recounting of how the wars she has experienced have transformed the lives of the women affected.
