An Exhibition of Still Life Paintings in the Medium of Oil by Caroline Ward Artist.
Still Life is an opportunity to appreciate quite ordinary objects and realize the beauty that surrounds us all the time, yet, can seem too subtle to merit our attention. I try to capture the calmness and serenity in each arrangement, and the effects created by light and shadow.
See www.carolinewardartist.com for details of opening and images.
In simple narrative format explores, at a number of levels, how dysfunctional attitudes to our environment world-wide, is producing startling changes to our climate and causing a lot of the bad news in today’s world. Through the use of mixed media, vivid colour and subtle use of materials the eye of the observer is drawn into the heart of humanity and manifests the connectivity of everything in the universe.
